Among the vocal groups he has conducted are the Children's Choir and the Chamber Choir of the Podlipa pri Vrhniki parish, the Raskovec Octet, the St. Paul Choir in Vrhnika, the Vinko Vodopivec Men's Choir, and the Krog Chamber Choir. With the Vinko Vodopivec Men's Choir he won two silver awards at the national choir competitions in Maribor in 2005 and 2007 and, in addition to the Conductor Prize, won a golden award at the 7. International Advent and Christmas Music Competition in Prague in 2006. Under his direction, the Krog Chamber Choir won the first prize in the Bad Ischl International Choral Competition.
He performs regularly as organist and accompanist in Slovenia and abroad and is a member of several chamber music ensembles. With the Ignacij Hladnik Choir from Tržič he recorded a CD “Od doma v svet” and appeared as organist in eight CDs of the Musica Sacra collection.
He holds seminars, directs workshops and gives lectures on various aspects of music. He won particularly great acclaim for seminars on Slovene music at the Hilton College and the Michaelhouse in South Africa in 2008.
He is an active member of the Ministry of Education National Board for Music Education, the advisory body of the Minister of education, and has been the Principal of the Logatec Music School since 2004.
